Playing golf At Sitges on Christmas eve 24.12. was something i’ve never done before.

Year 2013 is officially over and training for year 2014 has been going on for a while. It’s once again time to thank everybody who has support me during past year. It’s been ingredible year and support around me has been amazing. Without support i would’n be able to play on level i do, so thank you, thank you and thank you. There is so many people i would like to thank that i’m not going to put your names in here, but you all know who you are…

Finnish Golf Fedoration awarded Year 2012 best golf players on Friday, 8.3..2013 at golf business days. Master Golf Johannes Siikonen was elected best disabled golfer of the year 2012.

“A great achievement” commented Siikonen. “Originally, the aim was to win the award one year later, but this feels good anyway.” Continued Siikonen. “In Finland, the disabled golfers performance level has increased every year, and that’s why winning this award is more and more difficult every year. We have a great Finnish players playing on European tour, and throw that we also constantly make each other perform better” Says Siikonen which also specifically mentions Tero Peltola influence for his game. “Tero is right now best player in Finland and they way tha he can handle the ball is something that you can only admire,” mentions Siikonen about Peltola, who plays and practices at Tarina Golf, Siilinjärvi. Year 2012 is almost over and plans for 2013 has been on for some time now. It’s time to thank everybody who has support me during this year. It’s been ingredible year and without support it would be impossible for me to aim my goals.

Quick post before heading to France. Yesterday i was informed that my home course Master golf has chosen me as “Club person of the year 2012”.

Huge surprise for me. I’m honored and privileged to be included this group of people for example Master legends like Svarre Kaile, Olle Harcke and Tero Talkamo.

Really want to thank my club for huge support they given me past and following years. Without support it would be impossible to go onwards to my dreams.

Great man and big supporter of especially young disabled golfers in Finland, mr Kyösti Pöyry had his 60th BDay party at Hirsala Golf. As a huge golfer, Kössi’s friends played Ryder Cup Style competition against each other. Red team against Blue Team. Kössi’s Blue team won every game exept one. Myself and Tero Peltola took one point for red team 2/1.

Thank you Kössi for your support for all these years and let’s hope lots of good golfrounds for you in the future.

Year 2011 is now over, but training for new season has been on for two month’s now. It’s time to say thank you for all of you who has believed in me and supported me during year 2011. Without support it wouldn’t be possible to play on European tour against players around the world. So especially thank you Terapeija Oy, Printmix Oy, Golfroom and of course my home course Master Golf Club.

Season 2011 is officially over now. Last weekend we had our season ending session with Tero, Markku and Toni on place called GolfRoom. On GolfRoom you can play golf in simulator, there’s always summer, so it’s great place to play golf even in middle of winter. See you there 🙂 I also want to thank all my supporters this year. Without you playing on European tour wouldn’t be possible. But no time for me resting. Next season is coming soon and practice has started already with my new coach Stenna Westerlund.
