Club Championships – Preparation for Finnish Open 2013
Getting ready for Finnish Open 2013 at Kytäjä, playing on club championships. This is view from backtee on Forest course 11th hole. One of best views i seen on golf course i think.
Winning 2nd E-Tour Competition 2013 at Vihti and new PB
These two gentleman around me looks quite happy even though they just lose me first time ever in gross-competition. I’m very honored compete against these two extremely good golfers, and fine gentleman who i truly believe to be happy for me making my new personal best 79 in a competition. It looks promising for Finnish Open, i’m on right direction and it looks like i’ve done some things correctly.

Thank you Bridgestone for supporting our group (Finnish Disabled Golfers ry) by giving us some golfballs.
Heavy rain, wind and awfull weather to play. Wet, wet, wet.
Shot 93, happy with that. Conditions were just so awful. Maybe couple of shots were able to shoot better, but only 1-3 i think.

Brand New Golf Balls at Master Golf Range
Just informing that there is brand new golf balls on Master Golf Range 🙂 They changed over 30 000 balls for this season. Nice! Training facilities getting better and better all the time.
Hitting balls. First time 2013. Outside. In Finland. Cool.
Actually i was hitting balls first time outside on friday 19.4. but it was cloudy, windy and grey so when today on sunday 21.4. were sunny and nice i thought these pictures were much more interesting. Artificial turf looks nice on these pictures, so don’t think grass is green here yet. No my friends, it will take time. Maybe in end of May. 😀
Nothing more to write today. I’m so happy that summer will come. I bet it’s hard to imagine to someone that is able to play 365 days of year. We’re not. I’m not. That’s why it’s huge thing that summer will come…
Training camp in Spain
Finally. Hitting balls outside. This has been my dream for so many months. Dark months indoors have felt so long and boring. So first day of my holiday i went to Spain. To Sitges to be more specific. Golf Club Terramar. Facilities were perfect, weather were perfect and people were perfect. Perfect way to start season. Training twice a day plus one round of golf. I know that i didn’t speak same language with other players, but it didn’t matter. We could speak language called Golf. It’s all you need.
I was hitting ball actually quite well, which was bit surprising considering that last time i was able to hit balls outside were French Open in october 2012. Bit to do with shortgame but still besides all that i was able to hit scores that started with 80’sh, so looks promesing for coming season.
Thank you for everyone who has been suportive and made this trip possible to me. Without support it’s not possible follow your dreams becoming best in that what you do.

Disabled Golfer of the year 2012
Finnish Golf Fedoration awarded Year 2012 best golf players on Friday, 8.3..2013 at golf business days. Master Golf Johannes Siikonen was elected best disabled golfer of the year 2012.
“A great achievement” commented Siikonen. “Originally, the aim was to win the award one year later, but this feels good anyway.” Continued Siikonen. “In Finland, the disabled golfers performance level has increased every year, and that’s why winning this award is more and more difficult every year. We have a great Finnish players playing on European tour, and throw that we also constantly make each other perform better” Says Siikonen which also specifically mentions Tero Peltola influence for his game. “Tero is right now best player in Finland and they way tha he can handle the ball is something that you can only admire,” mentions Siikonen about Peltola, who plays and practices at Tarina Golf, Siilinjärvi. Thank you for year 2012
Year 2012 is almost over and plans for 2013 has been on for some time now. It’s time to thank everybody who has support me during this year. It’s been ingredible year and without support it would be impossible for me to aim my goals.
So thank you, thank you and thank you. There is so many people i would like to thank that i’m not going to put your names in here, but you all know who you are…

EDGA Order Of Merit Frech Open 2012
Last European Tour competition in Year 2012. Golfcourse was famous Golf National Paris. Same course that they will play Ryder Cup on year 2018.
Cold and windy conditions ended up canceling second competition round on sunday, so results from first day were final. My position was 17./49. Three balls on water on last hole ruined totally my score.
Best thing in whole tournament was playing practice day with Tero Peltola and European Champion Carolina Larsson. Both great golfers.
